Creative Report

I feel so much better since I made the decision to combine my blogs.
I have some very supportive friends and followers and I want to thank you all for that!

I spent a good portion of the afternoon working on the tree skirt that I'm crocheting.  We're putting up the tree tomorrow & I really want it to be done by the time we get that up. I'll share pics and the pattern link once it's all done and around the tree stand! :o)

Here's an art journal spread that I started Saturday and finished tonight...
I made this one for a prompt about "Change" over at Coach Creative Space (CCS).
What d'ya think?

Now it's time for me to take my little tired tushy to bed.
Sweet dreams my friends!

  4. Thanks for visiting and for your comment..blogging for me is hard enough can't believe you were doing two at one time...lol...I don't see a follow button so can keep up...can't wait to see your tree skirt...wish I could crochet and knit.

  5. You are very welcome Rina! I really wasn't keeping them both up very well. When I was focusing more on my knitting and crochet I would write more at this blog, but when I was focusing more on art I would write more there and neglect this one. I truly feel so much better about merging the two. My followers should be right under my "About Me" up at the top of the page, but sometimes it doesn't show up for some reason. :o(
I do hope you come by often! ((hugs))♥

  7. Hello Maria! I'm so glad you stopped by!
I actually made this one before I watched Adriana's videos. :o) I didn't think to put acrylics with it, so the color is not as vibrant as Ady's but we'll get there won't we?

Thank you so much for your sweet comment. I hope you'll come back often!

Warm hugs and abundant blessings to you mi amiga!♥

  8. Anita, I have a hodge-podge blog with all things crafty, personal stuff, deals I find that I like to pass along and a bunch of faith-based thoughts all mixed together. I find it so much easier to maintain 1, than try to keep multiple theme-specific blogs.
I just created my 1st art journal in Jessica Sprague's free class and I can't wait to start filling the pages. Total freedom to sketch, doodle or paste clips of things seems so freeing for me.
Please show-off your tree skirt when it's finished. I'm working on a scarf and fingerless mittens right now. Probably my first projects just for me.
    Happy Holidays!

  9. Thanks Lisa! ((hugs))
I am so excited that you're art journaling! I LOVE to art journal and one of the main reasons is because it is something that I get to do that is totally and completely 100% for me. My knitting and crochet is always for someone else...either a celebration gift, a paid order or a request from a loved one....I NEVER get to do it just for me or for the pure enjoyment of it anymore.

Happy Holidays to you too my friend!♥

I absolutely love comments from you and do my best to respond to each one, either on the post or (if you leave your email address) to you individually.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy life to visit with me a while!
