African Flower Pincushion

I've been needing a pincushion, but hadn't been able to find a pattern that tickled my fancy then one day I saw this and all of a sudden I heard angels sing!  I was indeed inspired and so, following a tutorial for the African Flower Motif, I came up with this....

What d'ya think?
And what about you?  What have you been up to?
Sit for a spell & tell me all about it!
Big hugs,

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.
Psalm 27:14 NLT

  4. GORGEOUS!

For my part, I've been sorting owls from the crochet-along... not much hooking, but still lots of yarn!

I haven't got as much hookin' done as I'd like myself. I had a few days there where I was in bed sick...Yuk!
I'm feelin' better though and back to playin' with yarn..teeheehe!

  6. That is so cute. I need a new pin cushion.

I have been knitting projects for my soon to arrive nephew. The baby shower was over the weekend so it looks like it is time to start knitting up a storm for Christmas...
