Free Knitting Pattern: ASE's Broken Rib Cloth

ASE's Broken Rib Cloth
©Anita Elmore, ASE Knits 'n' Crochets

I am offering this pattern to you for free.
You may not sell or claim pattern as your own.
You may, however, sell any items you make using this pattern, all that I ask is if you sell online you credit me and provide the link to this post.
Thank you for respecting my copyright.

Please enjoy!

Materials:
Worsted Weight Cotton
US size 5 needles

Notes:
♥This pattern will work with any odd number of sts, just work the amount of rows needed until you can pull the right bottom corner up to the left corner on the needle & it makes a triangle. This ensures that you have pretty close to a square cloth.
♥You can use any weight yarn that is at least 50% cotton, just adjust needle size for the yarn you choose.
♥S1KW=Slip 1 Knit-wise (putting right needle in first stitch on left needle as if to knit & slipping that same stitch to right needle)
♥Gauge is unimportant.

CO 35
R1 – (RS) S1KW, K in ea remaining sts across.
R2 – (WS) S1KW, *K1, P1 *across (16x), ending with K2
R3 thru 22 – Repeat rows 1 & 2
R23 – Repeat row 1
BO

Love ya's!

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
